1. Protect your energy better. Make more time for yourself and things you love. + Waste less time on unproductive things and thoughts. I easily lose all inspiration and motivation when I do wrong kind of things and then it’s hard to get back on track. It’s like a big trap for me. Last year I stopped reading bad news – one of my 2018 resolutions – and it was almost life-changing. Now I need to find ways to protect my energy. Less everything negative, I hope I’ll find more concrete ways to do this.
2. Finally finally finally finish the Konmari project. Once and for all. Decluttering makes you feel so fresh and ready for new things in life, funny how it can affect your whole life. Also: buy less stuff and be smarter. Space in my home is much valuable than unnecessary stuff I don’t use.
3. Create a healthy sleep cycle. And stick to it. After Christmas… Well you know day turned into night and night turned into day. When you start an e-mail with saying good morning but you haven’t gone to sleep yet you know you have a problem.
4. Start making more work-related goals and dreams again. I explained on my Instagram stories more why I didn’t do as much work in 2018 than I did in 2017. I said no to a lot of work projects, it was scary but worth it. I needed it. 2018 was the year for personal growth. But I feel more ready to make goals and dreams again that are work-related. I feel motivated and inspired. And I want to make blogging feel more meaningful. I’ll never forget the comments I got when I opened up about depression, or when I talked on our podcast about eating disorders. So I want to mix things up a bit, one goal is to do good and help others if there’s a way.
