In the morning we packed our bags with three of my friends and drove to Hanko, one of the prettiest summer cities in Finland. Ok it’s only my first time here, but I’m so in love with this place already!
I need to be completely honest about last week, it was one of the hardest in a while, I need a little time to recover mentally and physically. Amazing experiences, amazing people, amazing places, just really an amazing trip. But the lack of sleep, the tight schedule, moving from place to place all the time, being around people 24/7, not really having any time for yourself/for work/for anything… I got a reminder that I’m not good always tolerating it. I didn’t feel my best at the end of the trip, and now two days later I feel like I have finally the energy to open my laptop, gather my thoughts and start functioning.
But to lighter things, here’s today through my phone, one day trip to Hanko:
Arriving to Hotel Regatta.
Windy but sunny weather.

// Now we are going for dinner, then hopefully sleeping well, enjoying breakfast buffet and heading home. Hope you are all doing well!

Tunnistan niin ton tunteen; herkkänä introverttiyteen taipuvaisena tollainen hektinen viikko olisi tosi uuvuttava, vaikka kuinka ihania asioita saisi kokea. Sitä vaan tarvitsee johonkin väliin omaa rauhallista aikaa palautumiseen kaikesta ympärillä pyörivästä.
Rentouttavaa juhannusta, Marianna! <3

I totally agree with you and understand how you feel ! I just came back from a press trip in Paris and it’s so exhausting to be surrounded by people and activites all the time. Introvert people need to be on their own and have calm moments for themselves every day 😉 Enjoy your stay with your friends Marianna <3

I feel you, Marianna. I have the same feelings even if I have to spend a weekend around the people all the time. It is so exhausting for introverts. Take your time to recover. You need some space and time to spend alone.

Omg, how I love those casual posts about everyday life.
I also don’t feel good after being among people all week, so in the weekend I need a day just to rest and be with myself. But for some reason I feel bad for avoiding people. And still recovering and trying to live without antidepressants, to manage my anxiety and a bit of my depression. Thank you for being honest with us, and for being so human and vulnerable.
Sending you lots of love from Ukraine!
xoxo
