1. The nature: all the mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, trees… So beautiful it was surreal. It looks like I’m standing in front of a painting here, doesn’t it?
1. Luonto. Pakkohan se on ensimmäisenä mainita Sveitsi-muistoista, nähtiin niin sanoinkuvaamattoman kauniita maisemia. Näyttää melkein kuin seisoisin tässä jonkun maalauksen edessä.
2. Geneve is one of my new favorite cities. Amazingly beautiful. Could have stayed there for a whole week and just explore it.
2. Genevestä tuli yksi ehkä suosikkikaupungeistani. Voi miten olisin halunnut vapaa-aikaa vaikka vapaapäivän täällä, mutta ehkä vielä joku kerta!
3. The temperature changes. We experienced winter, summer, autumn and spring – at least it felt like it when we went from place to place, saw sunshine and rain, snow and warmth, lightnings and fogginess. Higher on the mountains it felt exhausting though, it was harder to breathe and move. I’ve never been that high so I didn’t even know about it!
4. Our Finnish crew. <3
4. Meidän Suomi-jengi. <3
5. E-biking. I loved biking with this electronic bike, kind of started dreaming of one…
5. E-pyöräily. Sähköpyörällä oli niin keveää ja hauskaa ajella, aloin ehkä vähän haaveilemaan tällaisesta…
6. Hiking. High incline walking at the gym won’t feel fun anymore after climbing up the mountains in this kind of a nature.
6. Vaellus. Ylämäkikävely salin juoksumatolla kyllä kalpenee luonnossa vaeltelun rinnalla. Ehkä jollain simulaattorilaseilla…
7. The peacefulness.
7. Rauhallisuus luonnon keskellä.
8. Dinner in the vineyards, this was my favorite dinner of the week! Pies, salads, different little fresh dishes…
8. Illallinen viinitilalla, tämä oli viikon suosikki-illalliseni! Erilaisia piirakoita, salaatteja, pieniä söpöjä annoksia.

I actually just said “oh wow” out loud when I saw that first pic ? I live near Munich, I should really take advantage of living so close to the Alps more often, it looks beautiful!

It looks so amazing and picturesque there! My mum is always telling me about when she lived in Switzerland and I can see why. It really does look like one huge painting.

Hi Marianna
Beautiful photos, I really like this blogpost! I’m Swiss and I LOVE my country. It is so small but there are so many things to see and explore. And yes, the feeling when you reach the top after a good hike is great and somehow addictive 😉

hey! you look so happy, Marianna, I hope this is not only my imagination 😉
Ps. Thank you for the post about depression. I struggle with this illness (mental breakdown?) since January 2018 and it’s really hard. In my opinion, people shouldn’t be ashamed of talking about this – firstly, it’s not our fault and secondly, it’s good to know that we’re not alone.
Kisses and hugs, I’m so grateful for real!
