Yhteistyössä VICHY
Kuten olen aiemminkin maininnut, olen aamuihmisiä. Näin ei ole aina ollut, mutta aamujen ihanuuden koettuani en osaisi enää kuvitella paluuta takaisin. Aamut ovat päivän parasta aikaa, silloin olo on inspiroitunein ja energisin. Itselleni myös aamuihmisenä oleminen on yhteydessä yleisesti hyvään fiilikseen, itselleni sopivaan elämäntyyliin ja tasapainoon. Kesä tuli elettyä aika huolettomasti, vähän liiankin, joten nyt syksyn saavuttua on ollut virkistävää palata takaisin tiettyihin rutiineihin ja pitää itsestäni taas vähän parempaa huolta. Heti on raikkaampi olo. VICHY haastoi minut mukaan #WinTheDay kampanjaan, joten nyt jaankin kolme omaa vinkkiäni parempaan aamuun, miten voittaa päivä. Samassa kerron tuotteesta, jota olen vajaan kuukauden nyt testannut, ja todella tykännyt! (+ Jaan linkin mistä tilata ilmainen näyte, mikäli kiinnostutte myös.)
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a morning person. It hasn’t always been like that, but after learning to be one, I can not imagine going back. Mornings are the best time of the day, that’s when I feel the most inspired and energized. For me being a morning person is connected to living healthier and having a balanced lifestyle. After living the summer in a really careless way, it’s been so refreshing getting back to certain routines – taking better care of myself and feeling more fresh. The French pharmacy brand VICHY challenged me to participate their #WinTheDay challenge, and I’m happy to share my 3 tips how I win the day. Plus also tell a bit about their new product innovation that I’ve been trying out and loving.
1. Aloita päivä jo edellisenä iltana. Pieni valmistelu illalla on avain stressittömään aamuun. Itselleni tämä valmistelu tarkoittaa kodin siistimistä, rentoutumista kirjaa lukemalla tai päiväkirjaa kirjoittamalla, Minnien kanssa löhöilyä ja kaikenlaisten kirkkaiden näyttöjen välttelyä. Jos on aikainen aamumeno tiedossa, niin valkkaan vaatteet myös jo illalla ja pakkaan laukun valmiiksi. Kaikki ekstra-aika on aamulla mulle tärkeää, kiire ja stressi ei saisi kuulua aamuun.
1. Start your morning the night before. I’ve talked about this earlier, it all really starts the night before. Everyone can have their own preparations, for me it’s cleaning up my home, clearing my mind with maybe writing in my diary or reading a book, cuddling with Minnie and taking it easy before going to bed. Preparation is the key, you want to have stress-free morning feeling like you can start each day fresh with a relaxed body and mind.
2. Raikas fiilis heti aamusta. Haluan aloittaa aina päivän raikkaalla ololla, tuntuu kuin jokainen päivä alkaisi oikeasti puhtaalta pöydältä uudella energialla. Ja raikas fiilis menee mulla meikkaamisenkin edelle. Kylmä suihku ja kosteutus, veden juominen, kasvojen ihonhoitorutiinit – siinä muutamat raikkaan fiiliksen avainjutut itselleni. Olen käyttänyt VICHY MINÉRAL 89-tiivistettä nyt vajaan kuukauden, ja se on ollut oikein toivottu lisä ihonhoitorutiiniini. Erityisesti kesän jälkeen, kun yleensä tähän aikaan vuodesta ihoni kuivuu huomattavasti, mutta nytpä ei ole siitä merkkejä, eli jotain teen oikein! Usein lentokoneilmastointikin vielä pahentaa kuivuutta, mutta ihme ja kumma iho on voinut hyvin. Olen tätä tiivistettä levittänyt kasvoille puhdistuksen jälkeen ennen mitään seerumia tai voidetta.
2. Freshen up and take care of yourself. I always want to start the day feeling fresh: a cold shower, hydrating & drinking water, clear and moisturised skin, just overall a clean feeling. For me that’s the base for everything, you feel put together even without makeup if you just have a fresh base. I’ve used this VICHY MINÉRAL 89 booster now for about a month, and it’s been a really nice addition to my skincare routine. Especially after the summer, when my skin usually gets more dry. So far I’ve managed to avoid all dryness, so my skincare routine has been working! I apply this booster daily before any serums or moisturisers.

It promises to strengthen your skin, give it a natural glow, moisturise, plump, protect and soften. And I kind of find it as a skincare primer too, it gives such a smooth natural feeling glowy layer. 3. Go outside. You might have seen this coming, right? After getting Minnie going outside in the morning has really became a daily habit, and I love it. Starting the day with fresh air, it’s the best way to waken up your body. (Besides coffee, but having them both is perfection.)

I love the pictures in this post. Everything looks so calm and fresh.
I also started to become a morning person and getting back into my routines after summer feels good. A yummy healthy breakfast is my base for a good day and making plans what I wanna get done on that day. I miss having a dog cause that daily morning walk really wakens you up and its nice to breathe the fresh air, especially in autumn.

I’ve been using the Maria Nila shampoos and conditioners now for some months 🙂 For hair straightener either GHD or something else, can’t remember the brand of the other one. No hair masks actually, but hair oil in the ends of my hair. 🙂 I think the best thing I’ve done for my hair is not using heat things too often, and let it be quite natural. Thank you so much Kasia! x
