I’ve found some really amazing new beauty products that have become beauty staples for me already, so I thought it’s time to share them with you. Self-tan products which you’ve been asking which ones I use, the perfect radiant primer for normal to dry skin, the perfect natural lip combo and the lazy girl’s nail polish solution in summertime. And please, don’t count how many times I say perfect in this post when describing the products, haha!
Charlotte Tilbury – Lip Cheat lipliner – Pillow Talk
After finding this already quite some time ago I have barely used any other lip liners. So smooth to apply, and just the perfect natural color for my lips.
Giorgio Armani – Rouge D’Armani lipstick – shade 102
My friend was wearing the prettiest natural lip colour and I had to ask her about it, and this was the shade. I had to get it myself too, this lipstick is a bit pricey but the packaging, the formula and the colour are just perfect.
Becca – Backlight Priming Filter
My favourite primer at the moment. This is moisturising yet does what primer is suppose to do, smoothens the skin before applying foundation. It gives an amazing glow and radiance, which is what I need for my dryish skin. In the summertime my skin feels normal more than dry though, but still I need to avoid too matte primers. Last night when I was at the Weeknd concert this proved how good it was, I had my makeup on for such a long time, it rained and everything, yet at the end of the night my face looked almost the same it did after just finishing doing my makeup. (I ordered this online after reading many good reviews, in case someone is wondering since they don’t sell Becca in Finland.)
Eco By Sonya – Face Tan Water
Ever since we came from Maldives I’ve wanted to keep my skin a little tanned, so I turned again for the help of self-tan products after years of not using any. After trying many these past couple months these two are my faves, let’s start with the one for the face, the brown bottle. This is more for gradual tanning, not any extreme results, but using this like every other night before going to bed has given exactly the results I’ve wanted. It haven’t caused any break outs, which is usually the biggest concern I have with self-tan products for the face. (This product was gifted to me few months ago.)
St Tropez – Bronzing Mousse
St Tropez mousse – the turquoise bottle one pic above – gives a tan quite quickly, so you don’t necessarily need to apply it before going to bed. Just leaving on for couple hours and then showering is such an easy thing to do. And after just one use I get a nice tan, not orangey or patchy, but just really natural.
And one last extra thing: gel manicure. I’m addicted, I’ve been there now three times (after every two weeks) and always asked for this same light nude colour. How can I ever go back after experiencing this easiness?
