Are you dating anyone at the moment? What do you think about online dating?
No I’m not. Does online dating mean apps like Tinder? I think it works for someone, but for me, I’m doubtful. I never get really attracted to someone just by the looks, so it feels pointless in a way. I know you are meant to chat there with someone and see if there’s something, but it would be like looking for for a needle in a haystack. (Plus I’m a little old-fashioned maybe.)
How many boyfriends have you had, when was it and were you happy with those relationships?
Only a couple, and it’s been years now. Impossible to say if I was happy or not in those relationships, there are always good and bad things, or is there? But I gotta say I’m not a fan of relationships from my experience. I like having my own space.
Have you ever been in love?
No idea. Are you supposed to know it? I shouldn’t probably answer a question where I don’t have the answer…
How old is your brother and does he have a girlfriend/wife?
He’s one year older than me, he has the sweetest girlfriend who lives abroad.
Does your family ask you sometimes why you don’t have a boyfriend and are they worried about it?
When you think about my taste for men they are probably relieved… Noo just kidding! They let me live my life my way, you can’t force some things.
What do you do when you have free time?
I do some home things, like cleaning and organizing, I go for walks with Minnie (four times a day), go to the gym, meet my friends, go out to eat or watch a movie or something, I read, draw, write, take pictures. And I think. I think I think too much.
How do you stay motivated for sports? Which classes do you follow in the gym?
I focus on the feeling after a good training session. Feeling overall good, healthy and happy, and like you’ve released the stress from your body. I mostly just go to classes like BodyPump, CxWorx (core training) and pilates/yoga at my gym, I’ve definitely found my way of doing sports. I’m not aiming to grow muscles or stare at the mirror after every class if some changes will happen, and that’s how I stay motivated. I want sports to help me stay energetic in everyday life, like just as a side thing. If I’d focus on how I look it would just kill my motivation and creativity in life, and I’d regret it later since I want my life to happen outside the gym and not to have the main focus on something that I find irrelevant, like fitness lifestyle. (But not judging anyone, everyone is different!)
What are your favorite leg-exercises?
I love the leg workouts in CxWorx (Les Mills class) where you have that rubber band and do kick backs and squat walking and that kind of stuff. In BodyPump there are basic squats, lunges and deadliest, longer sets & lighter weights compared to the usual gym training. But that’s basically what I do when it comes to leg exercising.
How many times a week are you going to the gym?
I aim for three to four times, depends on my week’s schedule. I find just staying active in general being a great workout too, both for your mental and physical health.
I noticed that you were skinny earlier just like me and I want to gain some weight, so I was wondering how did you manage to do that and did gym help you?
I started eating more. Working out does increase my appetite, but also makes me want to take care of myself, so that might have affected. I used to eat a lot of candy and that must have decreased my appetite for proper food, it’s been years now so I don’t remember that clearly anymore. I was really skinny as a child too but in a healthy way, then around 2010 I lost too much weight and were definitely skinny the unhealthy way, I got used to portion sizes that were too small. When I wanted to really make the change to get my body in a healthy weight, I needed to stuff myself and had stomach pain back then. Now I can’t even remember that time, I’d probably laugh if I saw in comparison the portion sizes now vs back then.
Do you use protein bars or shakes?
Mostly not, sometimes vanilla protein powder for smoothies.
What do you like the most about yourself?
I’ll try list five things!
1. I’m artistic and creative, always loved using my imagination to create stuff and come up with ideas.
2. I like a certain calmness about me and the introvert side of me (well I’m a full introvert).
4. I like that I’m fully happy with being the way I am. It’s me, take it or leave it attitude has replaced some insecure thoughts I used to have. Like when I was in school I hated that I weren’t like the most outgoing popular girls and I was always considered as the shy one.
4. I’m thoughtful, caring and compassionate.
5. I like my ankles and wrists, what a weird thing to say but wanted to include something that’s not in my personality.
How do you keep your tan?
Well I don’t keep it haha, not tanned anymore at all. I should probably find a good self tanner that won’t color my sheets too much. But I’m actually nowadays way more ok with being pale, I’ve started to pay attention in health things more. When I was younger I went to tanning beds in wintertime every now and then, but I made the decision few years ago to stop going there completely, and now I just prefer pale skin over taking risks with my health. If a special occasion comes up and I want to get a little tanned skin, I rely on a spray-tan.
Can you tell me your favorite skin and hair products?
Those vary a lot! Right now I’m using Lumene’s new skin products that I love. If I’d had to mention one hair product: morocconoil.
What are your favorite trends for this fall?
Almost the same trends every fall: layering and neutrals. I’ll list here my favorite fall pieces from my wardrobe:
Coats: grey woolen coat, black leather jacket, army green parka, black really warm quilted parka for the coldest weathers, and a military style navy blue coat.
Shoes: Over the knee boots, biker boots, hunters (rain boots), uggs, sneakers (Nike Air Force 1 & Adidas Stan Smiths), and a pair of more girly short boots.
Bottoms: tight dark jeans, leggings, short skirts, knitted and just basic tights.
Tops: Loose knits, basic t-shirts with comfy cardigans, band tees, flannel shirts, silk shirts and tunics
Accessories: Watches (both leather and steel straps), delicate jewelry (fan of all colors: rose gold, silver, gold), furry pompoms, big scarves.
What’s your favourite bag?
My newest one from Fendi! I’ll probably reveal it tomorrow! 🙂
How do you come up with an outfit?
I don’t have any special way, I just pick clothes by my instinct. It doesn’t take long when I choose an outfit on everyday basis, almost everything in my wardrobe goes with everything. If I know I’ll be taking outfit pictures, I usually think about it a little bit more, or want to create outfit around a certain piece.
What color or pattern you would never in a million years wear?
Vertical stripes. Never worn them, never will, not my thing. (I know you should never say never, in a few years someone will copy paste this answer to my ootd-post where I’m wearing some sort of a vertical striped jumpsuit that suddenly is the hottest thing…)
Do you know (and if you do, do you like) Maroon 5? And what do you think about Adam Levine?
That used to be my favorite band! I still like them (and Adam Levine!), I’ve been listening to their new song ‘Don’t Wanna Know’ now a lot.
Do you have a favorite football player(s) and club?
Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid.
Why do you wear contact lenses? Do you have myopy or astigmatism?
Myopy, my eyes are -3.5 and -4.0.
Do you have a driver’s licence, if not, do you plan to get it?
I’ll get one if I ever move away from the city centre. Here everything is much easier for me without a car, just having a place for one would probably cost half of my rent every month.
Does your parents come often to your house?
It usually goes the other way around. It’s just so nice going to my old home, I love the nature and our house and everything there.
Do you have fine or thick hair?
Something in between. In summertime I’d say rather thick, then in wintertime when it’s flat and frizzy it feels really fine.
What did you do with the furniture in your previous home?
Sold the most of it, and some things like the bed and the dining table and chairs belonged there. This place I got to finally decorate fully myself!
Two more Q&A posts still coming up this month! The first two answer posts I made in July (whoa I’m late with continuing this) you’ll find here and here.

Do you get lots of redirection from mariannan’s blog to your blog? Cause honestly it gets so tiresome and awkward to see you here every time the new post is on only commenting just for sake of it, in the most superficial and almost like ‘generated-comment-like’ answer with huge description of your new post. It’s a bit sad, you’re just taking advantage of someone who’s really popular, aren’t you a bit embarassed?

Hi Marianna!
I love reading your q/a’s. I look up to you a lot in regards to style, and lifestyle. You were one of the very first bloggers that I came across -ever- and I’ve kept up with your blog ever since! Even through moving sites several times. I love your photography and personality. I love that you mention how you really enjoy your alone time. Not many people do, at least not the ones I am around. I hope you find someone who appreciates that. Until then, I think minnie has enough love to smother you with!
Love you,
Linda

This is a great Q&A! I love your comment “I think I think too much.” – I’m the exact same way! It’s simultaneously a good thing and a bad thing, I think.
Marianna says
It really is, I like that side of me but still it’s stressful at times. But then when you think you wouldn’t think about things, what kind of like would that be, not mine I think! Hahah, thank you Caitlin!

I love your Q&As! I feel like we have similar personalities. I’m also an introvert but I love making friends haha, does that make sense? I love staying at home but I like meeting people that I have a lot in common with. I have a question for your next q&a: what books have you read recently that you loved (or hated it) or what are some of your favorite books? xo
Dixi Wonderland says
I love that you are so independent.
I´ve been in a relationship for almost 8 years now and I just admire you so much for standing on your own and not push yourself to find someone.
Marianna says
Rhank you Dixi 🙂 I’m sure you have that side in yourself too, but that’s amazing!

Thank you for doing that post! I can’t wait two other ones! I had no idea you’re an introvert as it seemed you have a many friends and you spend a lot of time with them. It looks like being surrounded with people and meeting new ones is a part of your lifestyle. It must be difficult for an introvert, doesn’t it?
I’m also curious how did look like the process of accepting and liking you the way you are as you said you had an issues with confidence. How did you get over it?
Marianna says
So happy to hear that, thank you! 🙂 That’s funny, I thought everyone knows that I’m a total introvert! 😀 But yes, I’ve had some challenges especially in the beginning of blogging, a certain type of people who are really outgoing, social and push themselves, make a lot of contacts, get to know “the right people” etc do often succeed in a business like this. And I definitely weren’t and never have been that way. But then again, I believe that you will only really succeed and go where you need to go in life if you are being 100% yourself.
That second question you had is a tough one. It came with time, after a lot of thinking and working with my mind I just somehow started to appreciate myself more not to think anymore that I should change something in my personality. I am the way I am, and I probably know myself better now that I’m older, so I’m more sure about myself. Like I know myself now, I know what I like and what I don’t like, I know my values better, I know what kind of people I appreciate and what matters to me in life in general. That’s deep! 😀

I love what you said about not being rushed to find someone to settle down with, I’m the same and it’s hard as everyone expects you to find someone in your twenties and settle down with them, but I guess sometimes it just doesn’t happen. Anyways, I hope you’re having a great week so far and Minnie is doing well. xx
Marianna says
Yeah, it will happen when it’s meant to happen, I just believe in that 100%. Thank you so much Leanne! x

Sweetie, are you happy? I have a strange feeling from your words, and I can’t explain why. So, is everything okay? ♥♥

I’ve had some harder things to deal with the last few weeks or months, but nothing serious, I’m getting happier day by day, so no need to worry. 🙂 ♥ Still thank you!

I really like your attitude about health and fitness, it is very rare nowdays as everyone seems to try to push their limits and control everything and fit into some strange “social frame”.
Also, you seem to have good common sense by creating a balance between your life in social media and outside of it. Everyone seems to throw everything in publick nowdays to get more and more klicks and attention. It is not bad to enjoy attention, but it should not be too important.
Being simple is being unusual, keep it up 🙂
Good luck!
